OKAY. CONTINUE.
Just a few minutes after Mori, Nekozawa arrived at the hospital. He ran in and tried to find Mori. He asked the nurse then went up to the room where Mori was. He got there, and looked through the window at the peaceful, injured Mori. “Please, save him.” He whispered, as he watched his lover in a coma.
Mori began to wake up after the surgery. He was feeling drowsy and had a breathing mask on his face, an IV in his hand, and there was a heart monitor to the right of him. “….Whh….ngg…weree…uhh..” he tried to speak but he was too tired and out of sorts for that. His arm hurt and that brought back what happened. He remembered every detail. He wished there was a familiar face around but he saw none.
After the surgery, the doctors came out and told Nekozawa it was okay for him to enter now. He wiped away a couple last tears, and slowly made his way through the door. He walked in, quietly shutting the door behind his back. He looked straight down at Mori. “It looks you’re waking up,” He smiled, “I’m glad.” He walked over next to the bed and gently touched his hand to Mori’s. “How are you feeling?”
“Well my shoulder hurts severely,” he muttered, rubbing the sore spot gently. “..ngghh..,” he grunted. “Can you hand me that?,” he asked pointing to the lotion bottle on the table. It was hard for him to move. “Thank you for being here for me”.
It was hard for Nekozawa to watch his love in pain. He took a deep breath trying to hold in the tears, “J-just take it easy okay,” he said then reached over for the lotion and handed to Mori.

He looked straight down at Mori. “It looks you’re waking up,” He smiled, “I’m glad.” He walked over next to the bed and gently touched his hand to Mori’s. “How are you feeling?”
Mori stood there, writhing in pain. It was almost unbearable. Almost. He managed to gain enough composure to find a towel and press it as hard as he possibly could to his shoulder. It was only a matter of time now until he passed out from the pain and loss of blood. He needed help urgently.
Seeing Mori struggling from pain, Nekozawa ran as fast as he could to him. “Mori? …Mori!” Tears began streaming down his face. “No! What happened?! Please don’t leave me Mori, not like this!” He began even more. “I-if only I could have been here for you, Mori.” He rested his arms and head on Mori’s chest and continued crying.
Mori could hear Nekozawa faintly. He wanted to reach out to him. Hold him. Kiss him and tell him everything would be alright. Mori felt awful. He didn’t want Nekozawa to feel guilty. It hurt him. As he began to slip into unconsciousness he muttered, “Don’t worry. I’m alright”.
Nekozawa heard Mori’s voice, so he looked up, deeply into his eyes, as tears continued to fall. “M-Mori?” He picked up his hand and looked down at the blood stains covering it. It made him cry out even more. “Please, please, please be alright, Mori. I-I can’t imagine losing you!” He began crying so hard to the point where he couldn’t breathe anymore. “WHY! WHY DID THIS HAPPEN?!” His whole body was shaking, “Why!”
All Mori saw was black nothingness. He couldn’t tell if he was alive or dead and at this point he didn’t care.
Nekozawa lay his head down on Mori’s chest again. He felt nothing. He waited a few seconds. Still nothing. He immediately picked up his head and looked at Mori’s face. His eyes were shut. “Mori?” He shook the boy, trying to hold his tears in some more. “MORI!” He burst out crying, once again. “MORI PLEASE WAKE UP! PLEASE!!” He constantly shook Mori, but it was no use. There was no response. “HELP! SOMEONE! PLEASE! HELP MORI! HELP!” He yelled and yelled, not knowing what to do next until he heard sirens coming from outside.
In this moment Mori felt completely content with everything. Nothing really mattered at this point. It was a game of life or death and Mori didn’t care about losing. It was a moment in which he would never forget. A peaceful, emotionless bliss. The tall boy felt as if he was floating. Maybe someone would save him. It would be nice to say goodbye if no one could.
Shaking and full of tears, Nekozawa leaned over and kissed Mori on the lips. It was the most passionate kiss he’s ever given Mori, just on the lips. His eyes closed shut, tear after tear ran down his face. “I love you, so much, Mori. And if this is the end, I just want you to hear that from me. I love you! Ever since that day you caught my eye, when you were a girl. And how the twins told on me, about me crushing on you.” He giggled. “All the fun times we shared, and the hard times we’ve made through. I could never forget you Mori, EVER! You will always be the most amazing person that I will keep close in my heart. And in my heart, is where you’ll stay forever. Also, Mori, thank you for everything. T-thank you for always being there for me. For making me smile when I needed it most. And for accepting me and letting me be your true love, because you..” He took a deep breath to hold back the tears, “you are my true love, Mori. Although I could never say it enough times, I love you, Mori. I love..” He heard the door swing open and the paramedics came rushing in. He backed away and watched as they tried to help Mori. This was the most heartbreaking thing Nekozawa has ever seen.
Subconsciously Mori had heard every word and they would be in the back of his mind forever. It was the most amazing thing that anyone had ever said to him. He loved Nekozawa more then anyone in the universe. It was amazing that someone could feel this way towards him. He had never felt this kind of love before. It was like something out of a fairy tale…except this was real. It was almost…a scary real. As if nothing could be more pure then this love. He wanted to just open his eyes and realize that this was all just a dream. That he had never tried to hide Haruhi. Or that he never dared the evil man holding the gun. It was almost unimaginable. How could this really happen to me? was all he could think. As the paramedics came rushing in he felt hands lift him up. He felt limp. He couldn’t move. “Someone get this young man an IV and get a heart monitor on him”. As he felt the needle penetrate, he lightly moved his fingers. He heard a beep, then felt something pumping into him. After that it was all black. Nothing.
He watched as the paramedics picked him up and took him out door into the front and into the ambulance. He stood for a second then ran behind them. They told Nekozawa he couldn’t go in the ambulance with them. “Please be alright.” He whispered as they drove off to the hospital. Hopefully, they will be able to save him. He quickly ran to a car, got in, and quickly drove off to the hospital. “I’m coming for you, Mori! I’m coming!” Tears falling once again, he sped down the street behind the path of the ambulance.
The shock of being shot had overwhelmed Mori. He was left to long untreated, and went into a form of coma. His heart rate was slow, almost non-existent. They had to shock him with the cardiac defibrillator to normalize his heart beat. After that, they pumped morphine into him and began to remove the bullet lodged in his shoulder. It was a game of chance now. Hopefully Mori wouldn’t be too far gone.
